Here in Waterloo, ON, we want to capture the vitality and diversity of economic thought locally, provincially, nationally, and internationally. Rethinking Economics Waterloo is a small but energetic and enthusiastic group of graduate & undergraduate students determined to inspire new discussions within economics here on campus. We aim to facilitate discussions between students and faculty by hosting conferences and lecture series with a variety of academics and professionals engaging in economics. We have already received immense support from faculty members in the departments of Economics, Philosophy, ERS, and Knowledge Integration.
The Waterloo chapter of Rethinking Economics is new and entirely student based. The co-founders are both current University of Waterloo students: Alexandra Kraushaar, Masters of Arts Philosophy Candidate and Geoff Evamy Hill, Bachelor Knowledge Integration Candidate.
